Jon Jeffreys - President
In addition to serving as President of Credit Union Student Choice, Jon is the Vice President of Callahan Financial Services, a subsidiary of Callahan & Associates that provides expanded investment alternatives to credit unions. In this role Jon runs Callahan Credit Union Financial Services Limited Partnership (CUFLSP) CUFSLP, a CUSO owned by 40 of the nation's largest and most innovative credit unions which also played a key role in the developing the initial idea to launch a student lending CUSO.
Scott Patterson - Executive Vice President
One of the original founders of Student Choice, Scott's role as EVP allows him to continue identifying new opportunites for credit unions in the education finance market. In addition to his management role withStudent Choice, Scott also serves as the Vice President of New Business at Callahan & Associates.
Melissa Hunt - Vice President, Client Relations and Education
Melissa has nearly 25 years of accounting, business development, and student lending experience within the credit union industry. She leverages this experience to help Student Choice clients successfully manage their student lending business and connect with consumers and colleges. Prior to joining Student Choice, Melissa served as the Vice President of Business Development at Smart Financial CU in Houston, TX, and also spent 13 years with Suncoast Schools Federal Credit Union in Tampa, FL.
Jim Holt - Vice President, Sales Operations
As the Vice President of Sales Operations, Jim combines his 25 years of student lending and financial experience to help credit unions learn about, and successfully enter, the private student lending market. Before joining Student Choice, Jim held leadership positions at Overture Technologies, a leader in marketing and decisioning tools within the private loan space, as well as Citibank's Student Loan Corporation.
Doug Jabbour - Vice President, Information Systems
A student lending industry veteran, Doug has nearly 30 years of experience in the technical development of loan origination systems and processes. Doug previously served as Vice President, Technology and Business Services for Cology, Inc., a leading provider of student loan origination software, as well as ELM Resources and Citibank's Student Loan Corporation.
Michelle Pezzulli - Vice President, Operations
Michelle leverages her 25 years of student lending experience to lead the continued development of the Student Choice solution, creating and faciliting enhancements to better serve consumers and credit unions. Before joining Student Choice, Michelle served in several capacities at Sallie Mae, including repayment solution services, business implementation, consumer education, and school relations.
Michael Weber - Vice President, Marketing
As the Vice President of Marketing, Michael not only builds awareness of Student Choice within the credit union industry but also works directly with client credit unions and business partners to market the program. With nearly 20 years of marketing, advertising and public relations experience, Michael spent nine years as the Vice President of Marketing at Dupaco Community CU in Dubuque, IA, before joining Student Choice.
